The official site reports that we have signed Tony Battersby from Chelmsford City. He has joined until the end of the season and will be available for selection for tomorrows trip to Cambridge City. Cracking signing!! Welcome to PVR Les, Just what we need an experienced brute of a striker whos been there and done it and still young (31??) . Superb signing as he must have been wanted by a few clubs when mr amusement arcade left him out at Canvey City, sorry Chelmsford. Just shows you how committed he is as he will be travelling down from Peterborough to play for us and train i would imagine. Im really excited at the signing and just shows how eager Adrian is and PRO ACTIVE in bringing bodies in. Also like to welcome Lawrie who is touted as a very good right back. Ha ha! That tub of lard is way past his best, by about four years. He's had about four clubs in the last 12 months. __________________
