A disappointing match, with the exception of a cracking goal from Keds, which was not helped by a dire ref.
I thought the result was a fair reflection of the game, though Fisher were lucky to keep 10 men on after what looked to be very much a deliberate handball.
Lets hope we are on fire on New Years Day and reverse the result.

Agree Bruno the ref was awful and how a player can handle the ball with the goalie out of position with the intent of stopping the goal and stay on the pitch is beyond me. Yet the ref deemed it enough to issue a yellow card obviously he saw something else that I could not see from behind the goal.
Interestingly enough they played Rivs in the centre of midfield. I didnt think he had that great a game but just to rub our noses in it he got the man of the match award after the game.
I can only think that the reason he was only given a yellow was because there were a couple of Fisher players back on the line so it wasn't a certain goal scoring opportunity. We missed Bods yesterday but still thought we were worth a point. They defended well - got in loads of blocks when it mattered.
This season we have responded well to set backs so I'm optimistic about Thurrock on Saturday.
