We let him go shortly after that, another scouting genius courtesy of Paul Parker I think. Let the bloke go who could have something and recruited 30+also rans who did nothing
He was onloan and he was recalled, Parker knew the score. He would have loved to have kept Boyd but had no choice and he was only a body for a few games.
