Just spoke to Dartford , apparently they sold quite a few tickets to Welling supporters before the decision , please take them back and they will issue refunds so you can buy tickets through Welling only
Are tickets on sale from 9.30 Wednesday or not? I want to get up to the club tomorrow before I go to work. I wont have too many more oppotunities to get to the club this week.
Was announced there will be no segregation, so I roll up to PP this evening, open till 7pm every evening this week, come away with 2 tickets.
Now there's segregation, I have to take them back for a refund then get to Welling on Thursday evening, the only time Welling's tickets are on sale for those who work normal hours (why is that?) and hope there's some left.
I imagine in the 1000 tickets we get, there'll be very few adult ones as the Club seems to geared up to selling to schoolkids and pensioners judging by the opening hours.
A bit harsh - in fairness the hours were decided before this was all ticket (although I read that part of the planning permission was that all 2000+ anticipated gates would be all ticket - may not be correct of course) and before it was segregated. Hopefully some arrangment will be made for Saturday sales now.

But its not all ticket.
So how does segregation work if all the tickets aren't sold? Do you turn up and go in whichever end you feel like? If Dartford sell all their tickets and Welling return 200, could we have 200 Dartford fans in our end?
My poor old brain is hurting - can we have some clarification please. Can I buy tickets to the game from PVR or do I need to go to PP? I am a non season ticket holder.

And will I be able to pick up a couple of tickets from PVR tomorrow afternoon?

It wasn't are you sure it still isn't? The Dartford website reads like it is....
Tickets can only be purchased from the club shop during the following days/times:-
Its not all ticket in essence, but it will be come Friday 5pm ... anyone thinking there will be about 2000 there is a moron, it'll be packed out. Get a ticket tomorrow or you may as well not bother trying.
My advice after talking to Barry is go to the ground in the times given on the front of this email, I strongly advise you all to buy tickets before Sunday, otherwise I think you might disappointed if you think you will pay on the door
if i stay at PVR till the bar closes at 1300, then there is a train leaving Welling at 1330ish and arrives 1400ish....is that what people are doing? it sounds more than do-able!

No trains on Sunday i thought i read so 96 bus from over the road or jump in people carriers from a cab firn. I would imagine everyone will stay till the bar closes then all head for Princes Park.

I am not known for keeping quiet when I believe the club have done something wrong but blaming them for the chaos is somewhat harsh when the events are outside of their control. I would imagine that they are probably just as peed off with the chaotic way things have been handled as we are, if not more so since they are getting flak for something which I do not believe they are responsible for.
To answer a couple of points raised above:
1. There are no no trains between Welling and Dartford on Sunday, all or part of the journey will be by bus [National rail website]: and
2. I spoke with Barry a short while ago and he told me that the tickets are being picked up first thing tomorrow am and should be at the ground by 9.30.

If thats the case bruno surely the darts will add some welling tickets that the club are picking up tomorrow for the ones theyve sold to welling fans and exchange them at dartford when the welling fans have to go back?
not refund them and tell them to go to welling and get a ticket? that would seem absurd if all the tickets are still at princes park.
should be very simple as i am sure all tickets are numbered and they can just give a welling end one in exchange for the sold dartford one?

Not sure what Barry/Barrie are doing about the matter but will ask when I'm at the ground tomorrow unless someone going there early doors has asked and posted on the forum.
I should imagine that someone is hurriedly John Bull stamping the Welling allocation to identify which area of the ground we will be admitted to.

its pretty unusual for one of the teams in a final to be given 20% of the tickets. i can state that none of this is the clubs doing so how about getting behind them rather than saying have some backbone. weve sold nearly half of the paultry allocatioon in 2 and half hours...
i would ask for half the gate on that basis and check the competition rules or ask the game be moved to the valley.
If we have sold half our paltry allocation in two hours then we should clearly have had more in the first place.
It is the LEAGUE who organise this game. It is THEY who should sort the allocation and it is OUR CLUB who should be chasing them to do this.
I am prepared to admit that the club are not at fault here but they need to grow a pair (and this is not an isolated incident) and make sure their club's fans are treated properly.
I'll admit I have no idea how allocations work but it wouldn't surprise me if Dartford phoned the league/FA to ask what the minimum allocation they have to give is and they've given us that so don't expect anymore

I wouldnt put it past the league to move it to the Valley if we sell all our 20% tomorrow.
Otherwise you will have Welling fans (and other clubs fans supporting Welling like Millwall and Charlton) going to dartford and buying tickets for their section.

Erm the play off final between Bradford Park Avenue and FCUM has a capacity of 2000 and FCUM have been given 1000
In the blue square north play off final....
Gainsborough have a capacity fo 3800 for the final and have stated " The club expect that home fans will be able to purchase a minimum of 2,500 tickets for the match"

well done southeastern - noone ever travels on a weekend......
We have been given 800 ... Dartford have been given 3200.
Several issues.
Why are we being tucked up on tickets ... 800 wont last five minutes, Id be surprised if they aren't gone by the end of the day once you reserve some for the season ticket holders. We probably had more than 800 Welling fans at the second leg of the semi. There will be people that have been to 10-15 games this season that will end up missing out altogether. Dartford have more fans than us, but so what, a Man Utd v Arsenal FA Cup Final tickets would be 50/50, why should this be any different. They already have home advantage, they will now get 4 times the tickets we get.
What's to stop a Dartford fan that misses out popping to PVR and claiming to be a neutral/floating supporter, no-one would ever know. Or vice versa.
There were 2500 there over New Years when we played them and it was packed, I dread to think how they are going to fit another 1500 supporters in there without there being some sort of incident.
Most important of all, now its segregated, we won't be able to get a drink at half-time ... and I fear, won't be able to get a beer afterwards either if we win.
Just back from PVR , Dartford have allocated us 800 tickets Car Park end of the ground Plenty of people there this morning so 800 wont last too long
I need two but can't see 800 going by tomorrow night (hopefully)
I beg to differ. My mate that got the tickets today has been to every home game this season and said he saw at least 10 people there this morning in the space of 15 minutes and didnt recognise any of them ... don't leave it to the last minute.

agree with both of your posts
and problem is the earliest i can get there is tomorrow evening but i might give the club a call as can season ticket holders ask for a couple to be put aside?
Why are we (apparently) getting only 20% of the capacity?? I realise Dartford have a bigger average attendance than us and therefore may be entitled to a greater number of tickets on that basis alone?
I am reliably informed that THE LEAGUE is in charge of this game and not the home club. Now whilst segregation may reduce the attendance (and affect the allocation of tickets) I can't see why there is such a wide discrepancy....
Have we underestimated the appetite of the Welling fans for this game or has our club rolled over without any resistance YET AGAIN.....??
