I wouldn't read much into the league table at such an early stage. Even if you do it doesn't mean much, look at Yeovil away last season. Many teams in this league are beatable despite their league position. We got more points from teams above us last season than those below us.
www.footballwebpages.co.uk/isthmian-football-league-premier-division The division below us is full of odd things, Dover were awful last season, yet are 2nd in their new league, Dulwich Hamlet are 5th, so fulfilling potential their big crowds should deliver, Cray Valley PM are 6th, quietly becoming very effective on and off the pitch, Dartford are 9th, so keeping in touch with the play offs, Danny's Hastings are 3 points above relegation and 6 points below play offs, Cray Wanderers are bottom, so their move to their own ground is a bit flat just now, and Cheshunt are 2nd from bottom, third season of struggle in a row.
As we all know the league isnt won or lost by October. Just noticed there is only a 7 point difference between 8th and 22nd placed sides. Think this league is a much tighter league than previous years and is going to be close especially around mid table. As we gradually get players fit and playing again I feel we are going to ascend rapidly.
