Last season Wings were heading for Conference South, only saved by a Cat?s whiskers with the introduction of Faz as Manager. He thoroughly deserved his chance to lead the club this season, with his own team. This is a bonus season for the club in the conference, and it's very clear that Louie and ot...
Top scorers last match were The Knows who is racing up the table and Old Oak both with 5pts. Please place your predictions by 1pm Saturday 19th. Best of luck.
Macclesfield has just signed a new winger from Ashton United on a short-term contract and in time to face us. It is incredible how often our opponents this season have made last-minute signings and how these players have played a prominent part in matches against us.
For once, in a long time, we seem to have a squad big enough to allow rotation of fresh players during the busy Xmas and New Year match schedule. Quite a blessing compared with our threadbare squad last Christmas.
I have a pre-Christmas family do and will not be at Saturday's match (despite my best efforts to get my brood to get together at PVR for it) to preside over the Bonus Ball. If anyone else in WUSA would care to step in, the metal clipboard of mediocre dreams can be collected from Dave in the Club Shop behind t...
Top Scorer last week was Spills with 7pts and now 2pts separating the top 3. Predictions in by 1pm Saturday 12th Dec. Best of Luck Tilbury 0-2 Welling Kabba
Has been a difficult week after the disappointment of the cup defeat and our lowly position in the league, however;the club has raised a £1000 for Cumbria with the match ball auction - well done the club and the winning biddervery positive feedback from media, Carlisle boss and fansgood media cover...
From reading this forum it would seem that lots of people are not happy with the current management team but not many people are suggesting any viable alternative to what we have? who could take us forward and keep us up? any suggestions?
i didn't go in the bar so can't comment on the drinks situation i do feel however that Barry and Barrie made tireless efforts to get things sorted for today.Sales of tickets, organisimg TVs crews scaffolds and everything else must have taken considerable effort we can all point fingers when things g...
Haven't had a chance to pop on since the game on Sunday! Had a good day out, easy run down in the car, couple of pints in the pub by Ground, and a professional performance by our lot. Thought your Keeper, and No.6 weren't bad. Yeovil at Home was a bit of a downer, especially as he seemed to have 24 in his hand at...
My 7 year old son Robbie was the mascot at Sunday's FA cup game. A huge thank you to all at the club for making the day so special for him and my family. It was a wonderful experience and a truly memorable day. Hopefully one day we'll be watching him play for Welling!
Hi Paul and Barry,We were guests of Bookies.com at yesterday's game and would like to thank you both sincerely for the hospitality we received. It was obviously a busy day for both of you and under the circumstances we were most impressed with the whole organisation and friendliness within the club....
Sorry Faz, what you have done for the club as a player I respect and appreciate massively. Your decisions today show you do not have what it takes to do this job. I really hoped you would succeed but leaving your strongest players out shows you can not make the required choices or galvanise a team that sh...
Some home truths for the delusional supporters amongst us, management, and the board.May I say in advance that I am well aware we are a low budget, low attendance, low staffed part-time club in a division full of bigger and better. So bloody what, are Leicester the best Premiership club? Should a clu...
Interview with the management team after yesterday's game. https://t.co/kPoFfe5WHV -- Edited by WingsTillIDie on Monday 7th of December 2015 12:06:16 PM
I'm sorry but Louis, Macca and Barnsey have written their resignations with that line up today. Abaoultley disgraceful. How Reece Harris must feel after working his nuts off week after week only to be dropped for a player who is dreadful even when fully fit which he clearly is not I do not know. I ll post...
In light of the situation in Cumbria and other northern countries WUSA have taken the decision to donate all profits from today's raffle to CUFC supporters association for any disaster fund to help those affected. In addition we shall have our buckets out for those who would care to donate. -- Edite...
If you missed it a couple of years back, here is our season from 88/89 when we reached the FA Cup 3rd round. https://vimeo.com/79343454 FA Cup stuff about 2/3mins in.
A very winnable tie. Carlisle 8th in the league and may have one eye on the league. Wont bring many fans across that distance I presume so could be a 90% of home fans. AT HOME most importantly. Lets not forget the fact that they have a 700 MILE ROUND TRIP. that could be a factor. Potential for an upset so may b...
I think all official coaches and buses organised by their supporters have been cancelled on safety grounds. It seems the team may have come down by coach yesterday. Let's hope their southern-based supporters turn up in droves to cheer them on, just to add to the atmosphere. It could be that many of th...
