Marvelous our next home game on 19th clashes with Charltons home game against Exeter and greenwich Council are offering residents who hold a Greenwich Card footy for a fiver. I know Welling is in Bexley but we do get a fair ammount of support from accross the border.

The first race will now start at 7.00pm and the race card will cost £1.50 which includes a free 50p bet on any race. I am currently reading the Bromley Boys and a mighty fine read it is too. I was intrigued that it has a copy of a press pass on the inside cover for a game in November 1969 - could have been 1968. It says the game was at the Welling Ground and when you read the book it is clearly a game against Bexley. I was wonder...
