Looks like we could well have a battle on our hands on Saturday as County are on a roll, unbeaten in 5,and well on the way to their survival in the league. The significant factors seem to be a resilient defence who have been well organised in defending set pieces, the form of Pennock w...
The Under 16's meet Thamesmead Town in the Semi Final of their League Cup on Sunday morning.
I'm sure the lads would very much appreciate some support and as we know from the home match with Weymouth this can make a difference. If the match is anything like the previous thr...
If you haven't already seen it there is a neat little game and a draw for a signed Arsenal shirt at http://www.topgunnergame.com. You need a mobile number for the shirt draw.
...thoughts turn to Player of the Year so if you haven't already thought about it now is the time to start.
I'm going for JT and my predictions are
JT followed closely by Keds with Leon or Bods taking 3rd place.
...about securing JT's services till the end of next season.
Provided I haven't missed anything next seasons definites are now JT, Guestie, Daisy, and Keds - a good solid core to build on. For my money I would expect these to be supplemented by Bods, Gleds, Leon an...
Plenty of coverage of Saturday’s game.
Didn’t realise that Weymouth’s manager refused to shake Ade’s hand at the end. Nade also refusing handshakes.
I can understand Nade spitting his dummy, after all he’s got the same temperament as fellow countryman Drogba; that being a diving cheat.
I co...
Having just picked up from the Official site that Mooro has been nominated for the Nationwide Conference South March Player of the Month I went and duly cast my vote. However while I was there I saw an item indicated that Mooro had won. I'm confused and have emailed Football ...
Thought i'd pop my head round the door, put a thumbs up to all the regulars and tell you'll i'll be posting a fair bit from now on...
Just moved over to Eltham, PVR is just down the road and after having one of those 'soft spots' for a certain lower league team (no names mentioned) I can final...
I understand that Billy Thurston of the Under 18's played the 2nd half of this match and did well. This was the first outing together for the side and their management was really pleased with the performance of the squad, particularly as Charlton a strong team from their Academy which includin...
Hi.Hopefully there will be a few of you visiting the Dripping Pan this Saturday. Just to let you know that after the game the Lewes Supporters Club are having a disco in the clubhouse. It is FREE, although everyone will be encouraged to put a quid or two in the collection bucket in aid of the New S...
Here goes, im banking on some of the more sensible wwings fans joining in here with the away fans. Hopefully someone will post latest scores in here and the game can be discussed.
Hard game for us, ambition and results have took a dive , play offs look gone. Sitting ducks for the muff? Hope not, we shall...
Jgfc, can you please up-date the Front/Home page? I really enjoy a good look on the forum and site, but i'd really appreciated current news when i first log in.
The U16 beat sevenoaks 3.0 on Sunday with a muted performance only managing to score three in the second half. It was however enough to take them to the top of the table although their rivals have games in hand.
Since Raphael Nade seems to have finally found his shooting boots I was mighty relieved to read on Tuesday that had been recalled by Carlisle and that Weymouth would not be bringing him to PVR on Saturday. Lo and behold Carlisle announce today that he has returned to Weymouth on a new loan agreem...
Can't find confirmation on the Official site nor that of Earbourne but one of the freebie local rags reports that Mark Green has signed for Eatbourne Borough following his 2 month loan spell.
Sounds like Jamie Turner yet again played a significant role in the match on Saturday and in doing so clocked up his 10th clean sheet in 34 matches - a newsworthy achievement in my book.
Congratulations JT thats got to be worth a pint on me after the Weymouth game. Will be in my usua...
Barring any totally unexpected result in the remaining 2 Group B matches (and assuming ny calculations are correct) the U16's will meet Canterbury City at home in the quarter finals of the League Cup on 2 April.
With no top of the league sides in action on Sunday we remain in 2nd place since the...
Bruno seems to be obsessed with the Youth Forums. Should he get out more -- Edited by MrConcerned at 20:01, 2006-03-13-- Edited by JgFc at 18:05, 2006-03-25
It was a windy winters morning on March the 12th as the dust settled from saturday nights exploits at the green court sports club in swanley. As the players rolled in at ten o clock everyone was in high spirits as they began their preparations to take on the league leaders. As the match kicked off there wa...

How the hell we didn't win today is beyond me! One up early on and then did the usual and sat back, allowing them to score twice. Keds buried a soft penalty when the returning Martin Carthy went dowm in the box and then he sent over a fantastic cross for Che to tap home to make it 3-2. The football that we playe...
The Under 16’s take on League leaders Thamesmead Town tomorrow. The match is being played at Thamesmead Town F.C, Bayliss Avenue. Thamesmead and it kicks off at 2.00pm.
If any fellow wings fans can make it I’m sure their support would be much appreciated.

Official site says Martin Carthy has signed til the end of the season. Hopefully he will start where he left off in fine form last time. We must now have a simialr midfield nos to Chelsea, still strength in depth at this stage and ambition and I'm not complaining.
