Jack is suspended for Saturday's game against stubborn Staines. It could be a bit of a problem in central defence as Steve King is out injured. Also, the following Sunday week against Tonbridge, both Lee Clarke and Jamie Day are cup-tied having played for Cambridge City and Dartford respectivel...
Start talking about our club, tomorrow is a new DAY. JAMIE knows the budget, knows the club,he will have his own ideas,we as supporters of this club will have to reserve judgement. THANKYOU LEE PROTHEROE YOU DONE A GOOD JOB AT A DIFFICULT TIME.
Now that the managerial position has been sorted and the team are back playing decent football all focus should now be on getting a sponsor. The thought occurs that there are two massive corporations currently vying for the attention of the Welling public where sponsorship of the local football t...
Dartford message board says they have agreed a "satisfactory" level of compensation for Jamie Day to talk to Welling about the manager's job. I wonder whether Jamie will now turn it down!
The board of directors are pleased to announce that, following negotiations with Welling United, a satisfactory amount of compensation has been agreed to allow further discussions to take place between Jamie Day and Welling United with regards to their managerial vacancy.
Erm, discussio...
This impasse cannot be allowed to continue. If Dartford demand a fee either pay it or don't pay it and leave Jamie at Dartford and move on in the search for a manager. I see Dartford's manager has gone public on BBC Radio Kent.
Time is up. Call a halt to this episode. Leave Jamie at Dartford. No more talks. What is puzzling though is why, when announcing Jamie's "appointment" we thanked Dartford "who will release Jamie from his commitments". What led the club to believe that?
Still no news apparently, but also, Day wont have seen us play yet as he will have been playing himself on Saturdays ... other candidates were known to be at the recent game with Lewes for example.
mitten sambrook andrews parkinson dean finn johnson fazza hurrell clarke whitnell subs hobbs stone bakare gaisie protheroe i prefer protheroe but dont if he is still at club we despartely need a hardman midfield...
...........but 1.Solves the Cracknell problem 2.He certainly knows the club 3. I think it will be Handford No2 so that would make me feel a little more comfortable with it 4. I think we will get passion 5. He must know the local scene AND up to date Errrrrr I am trying to convince myself this is a good move W...
Its a no brainer isnt it that Jamie plays when fit , Dartford says hes been one of their best players, we all know how good he is. So hes a gimme for a starting place, Hes better than we have in midfield isnt he?
If Anyone knows who this was please can you enlighten me. Was leaving cafe in Blackfen when I saw A member of Ebbsfleets Staff eating. He Had the letters SR on his training kit. Ive been on their website but cant find a match to the Initials or face.
Well with two new additions to the injury list (King and Cracknell) the new manager ...whoever that may be has a real headache to start with Time to use the loans available AND see what is out there right now Personally I am really happy with Andrews and Parkinson at the back but leaves us really short Mus...
According to the NLP, they quote , Barrie Hobbins as saying, "Gary (Abbott) is obviously a hero here, but there are still other people we will considering, it certainly isnt a one horse race " The board will select the man they want before saturdays trip to Worcester........
Is he back? Is he due back? without wishing to annoy Bruno , he is a squad player and its a relevant question. I personally couldnt give a toss what Sky think, i am just interested if and when one of our players will be available or has he left to join a team in Italy.
Also Clarke, where was he Monday and is he...
Better hope the FA dont see the video, he pushed the ref after they never got a penalty, Then after half of his team had gone to the ref to have a go after the final whilstle he walks past the ref, gives him a mouthful and gets a second yellow and a red.
How was he not sent off for pushing. What a vile little man...
Looking at the video it amazes me how the ref lets players walk him backwards. Watch him on our penalty, their appeal at the end plus the final whistle. Why does he not stand still? and if the players get right in is face then they're off. It is such cowardice and he should shows who's in charge. What a wimp!...
I will be providing live updates from todays game. Not sure if James will get my message before the game, if so updates will be available via the official site - otherwise you can get them at www.twitter.com/wufc live. Thanks Graham
im missing ANOTHER game tomorrow - I've only seen us play about 5 times this year and that is pathetic support and the worst season i've had in my 5 years going to the Wings how many games do people usually miss? im guessing there are a few on here who do every game home and away
